Located between MIT and the Charles River, the Kendall Square Rooftop Garden is a few steps from our customer’s college dorm. They visited the garden every weekend to steal afternoons to themself amongst swaying trees and crisp breezes. The Garden quickly became their semi-secret safe space throughout their dorm life. Even though a complete renovation had erased the open space they once sought solace in, we delved into archived references (and even townhall meetings’ notes) to deliver a corner closest to the original layout of the Rooftop Garden: one we were entrusted to recreate.
