Our work:
Simply put, we make miniature models of your favorite spaces: from childhood bedrooms and first date locations to a specific corner of your local park: as long as you have a few photos we can use as references, we will recreate it for you. Check out our process here.
Even if your chosen space has been demolished, renovated, or changed in any way, we aim to recreate this Spot exactly how you remember it.
Our approach:
We bring your Spot to life through a combination of 3D-printing and artisanal handicraft. While the materials used vary with each design, The Pocket Spot is committed to waste minimization through recycling and upcycling.
We do not utilise A.I. in any part of our design process.
Our story:
As a queer, POC, and mentally-ill™ team, we understand the sense of safety and belonging chosen spaces can provide amid the chaos of this world. We are honored to approach every space entrusted to us with the utmost care, sensitivity, and kindness. Thank you for considering us, and we can't wait to hear from you!
Our process:
-

Design
RESEARCH // SCALE // DRAFT
Upon receiving reference photos, we take a deep dive down Internet rabbitholes and collect as much information about your chosen space as we can find. Then, we convert the space’s dimensions before sketching out to-scale site plans. -

Construct
DIGITAL MODEL // 3D PRINT // SCULPT
A large chunk of the process lies within this phase. We draw up and print out 3D models of all compatible components in the design, then figure out the varying crafts necessary to create the rest.
-

Refine
SAND // PRIME // PAINT
This step is where the magic of likeness takes place. We refine built parts with extensive finishing details to ensure their accuracy and your satisfaction. -

Assemble
JOINT // SNAP // GLUE
Last but not least, we fit the myriad of tiny pieces together into a few building blocks, all relatively planar to ensure your Spot’s quality during shipment. Final touches upon reception will only require simple and marked surface-to-surface adhesion via either embedded magnets or provided glue.
